Second Ear Piercing

   Pretty simple idea and very easy to get done. I love piercings and have a few. When I was younger I got my second ear piercing done and then for some reason forgot to put a stud in the hole and it closed up, and I have wanted to get it again ever since. About 4 months ago I got it again. Ear piercings in this part of the ear are not very painful, but that isnt saying that they are completly free of pain either.

   Getting it done is very fast when they use a piercing gun, which is fine for them to do on this part of the ear, and the pain is 3-4 on a rating from 1-10, maybe even less. For about 2 weeks after there will be redness and it may stay swollen for a while, but have no fear my friend because that is all very normal.

   I normally keep studs in both, but for me it is just nice to have the option to change the first piercing and keep the second with a stud. Soon I am hoping to find a small hoop that I can put in the second holes.

Sophisticated Nails!

   This pasted week when I went to get my nails done at the salon I tried something new. Normally I head stright for the cart with the purples, greens, ornages, blue, and so on, but this week I decided that I would try something for adult-like. I dont really like nude colors, and black is to harsh for mature.

   So, I went for a dark brown, which I have to say I really like. I am getting to the age were I like wearing more sophisticated clothes and shoes and makeup, I guess this is the last thing that I have been holding on to that is kind of silly. I am not saying that at this moment I am a WOMEN just because I am using brown nail polish, I think that would be a bit drastic, but I am saying that I think nail polish color can really portray maturity and age.

   As is shown in the photos below I chose a very dark, red toned brown. I have been wearing it for about 5 days and I still love it so I thought it deserved a rave. Now I am trying to think of other nail polish colors that are more mature. As I said I dont like nude so that is out of the question, maybe brown will be my color now and I will never stray. I doubt that though, and I have a feeling that by next week I will have bright blue and green nails again. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this, QueenMcHone.

OOTD- May 12, 2013

   I went dress shopping with my friends during the week before the party and ended up buying this beautiful white lace dress. I honestly am not really a fan of really tight dresses for me, not because I think they are inappropriate, actually I think they are really sexy for people who can pull them off but I would rather spend my time at the party having fun and not stressing about my tummy. 

   For makeup I went with a smokey brown eye and not much of the lips since I am not really a lipstick/gloss person. I wore pretty large hoop earrings and I left my hair really natural with my bangs twisted and pulled back. On my feel I wore a pair of old black comfortable flats since the party was outside and the ground was not suitable for heels.

   I really loved this outfit and I am sure that I will use this dress again soon. I hope you guys enjoyed it too. Until next time, QueenMcHone!
